This is my humble site, it has been online for 25 years.

Me in less than 10 seconds

I grew up in Pavia, Italy. I’ve started a company when I was 21, then sold it, then worked for several others, notably Boeing, and Google. Over the years I’ve been involved with PHP, the OpenStreetMap Foundation, Wikimedia Foundation. I’ve spent my career mostly working as a (Technical) Product Manager. I’m currently active in the Private Equity space, where I serve as part time CTO and investor at different companies.

Interests

I’m fascinated by: people, the rise of machine intelligence and AI, the upcoming autonomous transportation revolution and the electrification of the transportation sector, copyright laws, maps, data, the singularity, investments, entrepreneurship.

I like to do: photography, eat and prepare good food, long distance walking.
